Police investigate death of 19-year-old woman in Argana
A young woman was found dead in Lanzarote in the early hours of yesterday morning (Saturday) in an abandoned construction site frequently used by drug addicts.
The Judicial Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the 19-year-old, whose body was discovered in the Argana Alta neighbourhood of Arrecife.
According to information obtained by Lancelot Digital, it was people who regularly reside in the abandoned site and struggle with drug addiction who alerted the National Police.
The authorities are now working to determine the exact cause of death, but the leading hypothesis suggests that the young woman may have died from a possible drug overdose, although the investigation remains ongoing.
