URGENT APPEAL: Search underway for missing French tourist in Tenerife
Authorities and relatives are searching for Zinedine M, a 20-year-old French national who has been missing in Tenerife since the evening of Friday 8th August 2025.
His last known contact was a message and photo sent from him at Playa de Almáciga, on the rugged north coast of Tenerife near the Anaga Rural Park. Up until that point, Zinedine had been in regular contact with his family several times a day.
He was travelling alone, camping from his white VW T-Roc hire car, registration 6721 NCP. He had also been seen in San Andrés, on the opposite coast, and may still be in the Anaga area.
Zinedine is described as 1.85 metres tall, of stocky build, olive-skinned, with short dark curly hair and a beard. His family, who are extremely concerned for his welfare, are flying to Tenerife to join the search.
