Overnight lane closures continue on Tenerife’s TF-1
The Tenerife Cabildo has announced that night-time lane closures will continue on the TF-1 motorway next week as improvement and resurfacing works progress. On Sunday evening, work will take place between kilometre points 37 (El Porís) and 47 (Tajao).
During this time, from 9 pm until 6 am, only one lane will remain open in each direction.
From Monday 18th to Friday 22nd August, the focus of the works will move to the stretch between kilometre points 31 and 39. Throughout these nights, the right-hand lanes in both directions will be closed to traffic.
The Cabildo has urged motorists to take extra care when driving through the affected sections, to follow all signage, and to respect the instructions of road workers to ensure safety while the works are underway.
The resurfacing project forms part of ongoing efforts to improve road conditions and ensure safer travel along one of the island’s busiest motorways.
