Rising temperatures and slight haze forecast for Thursday in the Canary Islands

The Canary Islands are set to experience light haze, rising temperatures, and moderate winds this Thursday, according to the latest forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

The weather outlook indicates a general increase in maximum temperatures across the archipelago, with moderate northeasterly winds on coastal areas and some stronger intervals on the southeast and northwest slopes during the morning.

In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, a slight haze is expected, while other islands will see a mix of cloudy and clear skies. Areas with higher altitudes in the northern regions will have cloudy intervals, particularly during the early and late hours, with clearer skies prevailing in the central parts of the day.

Marine conditions are also expected to be challenging, with northeasterly winds reaching force 4 to 6, leading to rough or strong seas. A northwesterly swell of up to two metres is forecast, which could impact coastal activities.
