The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has forecast cloudy skies and occasional rain showers for the northern regions of the more mountainous Canary Islands this weekend.
Temperatures are expected to remain stable or rise slightly, especially in Gran Canaria.
Elsewhere across the archipelago, the skies will remain mostly clear, with moderate northeasterly winds, which could become stronger during the early hours of the morning.

LANZAROTE
The island will see mostly clear skies, with some cloud cover in the north during the early morning and late evening. Minimum temperatures will slightly increase, while maximum temperatures remain unchanged. Light northeasterly winds will strengthen to moderate from the morning.
Expected temperatures: High of 22°C and a low of 16°C.
FUERTEVENTURA
Similar conditions to Lanzarote, with mostly clear skies and occasional morning cloud cover. Minimum temperatures will rise slightly, while maximums stay stable. Winds will be northeasterly, ranging from light to moderate.
Expected temperatures: High of 22°C and a low of 15°C.
GRAN CANARIA
The northeast will see cloudy skies during the morning and evening, clearing up during the day, with a chance of light rain at night. The rest of the island will experience mostly clear conditions. Temperatures remain steady. Moderate northeasterly winds, with strong intervals in the west and southeast. Light winds in higher elevations.
Expected temperatures: High of 25°C and a low of 17°C.
TENERIFE
The northeast will be cloudy, while the northern areas will see intermittent cloud cover, with clearer skies during midday and a possibility of light rain in the evening. Other parts of the island will be mostly clear, with some isolated clouds in interior areas during the afternoon. Temperatures remain largely unchanged. Moderate northeasterly winds, with occasional strong gusts in the southeast and west overnight. Light winds in high-altitude areas.
