The Local Police came across an unusual event yesterday morning when they found a car abandoned at the side of the road, that had obviously been in some sort of accident, they discovered the female driver asleep inside it with a sunshade in the windscreen to block out the light.
Officers came across the white Renault Clio on the Igueste de San Andrés highway in the municipality of Santa Cruz, which had scraped along the wall at the side of the road causing enough damage that meant it couldn’t be driven.
Rather than report the incident, the unnamed driver stopped the car, switched off the lights, put up the sunshade, and went to sleep. After questioning her and carrying out the necessary proceedings, they shared the images on the Local Police’s Twitter account as it was such an unusual incident.
