A woman was seriously injured yesterday (Sunday) from being stabbed several times by her boyfriend, who after committing the alleged assault, fled the scene of the incident before taking his own life in Tenerife.
The Emergency Services have reported that the incident took place on Calle Chasna in La Orotava yesterday and that the female victim, who lost a large amount of blood from her stab wounds, was rushed to hospital where she has been stabilised by doctors but remains in serious condition.
At the moment there are no details regarding the discovery of the boyfriend’s body, as the facts are being investigated by the Judicial Police of the Guardia Civil before any official announcement is made.
