The National Police have arrested a 31-year-old man for the crime of exhibitionism as according to the witnesses, he carried out acts of an obscene nature in front of children and teenagers in the Playa de Valleseco area of Santa Cruz in Tenerife, moments before his arrest.
The National Police Control Centre received a call from a member of the public informing them that the man was exposing himself and ‘touching’ himself on Avenida de Anaga in front of minors, so they went straight to the scene.
When they got there, they found a man matching the description they had been given, throwing stones at passing cars. After stopping him, the officers spoke with the witnesses to verify the claims, and then proceeded to arrest the man immediately transferring him to the police station to process the corresponding police report.
The detainee, after giving a statement, was placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
