Balearic Islands says NO to masks on beaches

The use of a mask will not be mandatory on the beaches of the Balearic Islands as long as there is social distancing , or if you are with people from your household whilst sunbathing. This has been stated today by the Minister of Health, Patricia Gómez, who explained that the Balearics will continue to maintain this measure, agreed in November, confirming that it must be worn at all other times.

Gómez specified these details after participating in the Inter-territorial Health Council, where the Minister of Health for Spain, Carolina Darias, explained that the New Normal Law, published yesterday in the BOE has been "decontextualized”, and, for this reason, has proposed working in a technical-legal committee with the participation of the communities to modify it by consensus
