Two seriously injured in motorcycle accident in the south of Tenerife
A man and a woman were seriously injured yesterday (Sunday) after falling off their motorbike in Adeje in the south of Tenerife, according to a report from the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
The accident happened at 1:54am on Avenida de Los Pueblos in the San Eugenio area of Adeje, leaving the man with a severe head injury, while the woman suffered multiple fractures and broken bones, as well as very nasty cuts and grazes from the road.
Both victims were treated by paramedics at the scene before being transported by ambulance to the Hospiten Sur hospital where they are receiving further medical care.
The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident as no other vehicles or people were involved.
