The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) is forecasting more clouds and rain today (Monday), particularly in the north of the more mountainous islands such as Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and La Palma. Temperatures will only have a slight change and there will be a northeasterly wind with some strong gusts.
According to the forecast, gusts of very strong wind are expected on the northwest and southeast slopes of the westernmost islands this morning, especially on La Gomera and in the El Paso area of La Palma.
Regarding sea conditions, there is a strong swell on the west and southwest coasts of around 2 metres with a force 5 or 6 northeasterly wind, and rain with occasional downpours. Sunset time tonight is 6:39pm.
