Property portal Idealista has released its annual report on the most expensive streets in Spain to buy a property, and the south of Tenerife has made it onto the list, with an average price tag of more than €6.4 million.

The report highlights the Costa del Sol, Mallorca and Barcelona as the most exclusive areas in the country, where average property values range from €8 million to over €12 million.

At the top of the ranking is the private Coto Zagaleta estate in Benahavís, Málaga, where the average price of a home reaches €12.36 million. It is followed by Avenida Supermaresme in Sant Andreu de Llavaneres (Barcelona) at €9.06 million, and Camí des Salinar in Andratx (Mallorca) at €8.9 million.

Other prime addresses include Calle Binicaubell in Palma, the A-397 in Benahavís, and several luxury streets in Marbella such as Calle Vivaldi, Calle Albinoni, and the Cascada de Camoján development.

South Tenerife enters the elite ranking

The Canary Islands also feature on the national list, with Avenida de la Macaronesia in Costa Adeje, by the Los Lagos golf course, ranking 11th overall. Properties on this exclusive street carry an average price tag of €6,411,111, placing it just behind Marbella’s Cascada de Camoján.
