Swimming banned at three more beaches in Tenerife

The authorities in Tenerife have taken decisive action to protect public health by banning swimming in the Valleseco area. The emergency response centre, CECOPAL, announced on social media earlier today that red flags have been raised in the bathing areas of Los Charcos, El Bloque, and Acapulco, indicating a ban on swimming due to poor water quality.

This decision comes after recent water quality tests revealed negative results, prompting concerns about the safety of the affected zones. Both the Anaga District and the Santa Cruz City Council have been informed and fully support the measure to ensure the well-being of beachgoers.

Authorities urge residents and visitors to stay informed by following official updates and adhering to signage in the affected areas to avoid unnecessary risks.
