After two days of good weather in the Canary Islands, temperatures will drop and rains are expected over the Easter weekend, which in general will be weak, although some more intense local showers are expected in four islands on Saturday and Sunday according to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
TENERIFE:
On Saturday, light and occasional rains will be likely on the north and southeast slopes. The probability of rain stands at 70% during Saturday morning and increases to 90% during the afternoon. On Sunday there is a probability of weak or locally moderate rainfall, especially later in the day.
Temperatures: Maximum 23°C and minimum 15°C.
GRAN CANARIA:
On Saturday there is a slight chance of some showers, as the chance of rain stands at 10% during the middle hours of the day. For tomorrow, Sunday, the probability of rain increases to 20% during the morning and to 30% during the afternoon.
Temperatures: Maximum 22°C and minimum 14°C.
FUERTEVENTURA:
Some showers are expected on Saturday, with a probability of between 20% and 25% throughout the day. No rain is expected on Sunday.
Temperatures: Maximum 22°C and minimum 16°C.
LANZAROTE:
Rain is not expected in Lanzarote during the weekend, but there is a forecast of high-altitude haze across the island today (Saturday).
Temperatures: Maximum 22°C and minimum 15°C.
LA PALMA:
The probability of rain on Saturday is 10% in the morning and 15% in the afternoon. On Sunday there is a greater chance of showers, especially during the afternoon, where the probability of rain is 35%.
Temperatures: Maximum 20°C and minimum 15°C.
