More rain this weekend across the Canary Islands

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) are forecasting more mixed weather this weekend, with showers in all areas of the islands which will be more intense inland on the more mountainous islands, where it will feel muggy due to the temperatures and humidity.

It is expected to stay around 23 and 24°C but will generally be cloudy with some sunny spells. Winds will be light to moderate and from a northwest direction, with breezes on south coasts, meaning that sea conditions will be better.

Sunset is due at 8.56pm but it will depend on the clouds and rain as to how visible it is.

TENERIFE (Adeje and south airport weather stations):
General: Mostly cloudy with some sunny intervals and scattered showers.
Humidity: 60%
Precipitation: 32% for rain in the south of the island.

GRAN CANARIA (Mogan weather station):
General: Dry in the morning with sunny intervals, rain in the afternoon and muggy.

Precipitation: 37% - showers expected.
Wind: Moderate, 23km/h from the south.
Temperatures: Maximum 23°C and minimum 15°C.

LANZAROTE (Arrecife weather station):
General: Cloudy with sunny intervals and light showers throughout the day.
Humidity: 56%
Precipitation: 44% - showers this afternoon.
Wind: Light, 16km/h from the northwest.
Temperatures: Maximum 23°C and minimum 16°C.

FUERTEVENTURA (Puerto Rosario weather station):
General: A sunny day with cloudy intervals and some isolated showers.
Humidity: 63%
Precipitation: 21% - chance of light showers.
Wind: Light, 16km/h from the west.
Temperatures: Maximum 24°C and minimum 17°C.
