A 34-year-old man is in critical condition after suffering multiple severe injuries in a traffic accident in the south of Tenerife, after the car he was driving veered off the road and crashed into a traffic sign.
The accident happened at around 11:00pm last night on Avenida Virgen de Guadalupe, the road between Del Duque and La Caleta, in Costa Adeje.
The Canary Islands Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) received a call reporting that a vehicle had left the road and crashed into a traffic sign and that the driver required immediate medical assistance.
SUC medical personnel were sent to the location given, where they treated the man’s injuries, and after stabilising him, took to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria, where he was admitted in critical condition for further treatment.
