The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has warned of strong winds and waves of up to four metres high over the next few days, with a northerly wind that will turn northeast in the afternoon and intensify, with very strong gusts at the end of the day.
In addition, sea conditions will be dangerous with a swell from the north-northwest of between 3 and 4 metres and large waves of four metres in height.
Temperatures will drop slightly and rain is forecast in the western islands, particularly in Tenerife and La Palma, where some snow is also predicted at peaks above 2,000 metres.
