The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) are forecasting rain in the western province for the weekend (Tenerife, La Gomera, La Palma, and El Hierro), mainly on the northern slopes in the mornings, and in inland areas during the afternoons.
The skies will generally be cloudy tomorrow (Saturday) in all of the islands, except in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura where they will have less cloud but a light haze is also expected, which will tend to subside by the end of the weekend.
The south is expected to be clearer and sunnier with a slight chance of showers in secluded areas, and temperatures will only decrease slightly from the 26°C they are now, except in the easternmost islands where a small increase could be registered due to the haze.
The wind will be light to moderate from a north and northeasterly direction, and stronger in the central peaks of Tenerife where it will increase to strong during the afternoons.
