AEMET cancels weather warnings for rain but extends them for haze and winds

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has updated the weather warnings for the Canary Islands for the next few days, in addition to the alerts already activated by the Government. Alerts for rain have now ended, but there are still active warnings for wind and haze throughout the Archipelago.

TENERIFE:
Active yellow weather warning for winds up to 80km/h across the island until 12:59pm tonight, but particularly on north and west slopes, intensifying on peaks up to 110km/h.
Active yellow weather warning for haze until 9:00pm tonight, with visibility reduced to 3,000 metres. Occasionally visibility may be less than 2,000 metres.

GRAN CANARIA:
Active yellow weather warning for winds up to 80km/h across the island until 8:59pm tonight, but particularly on west and southwest slopes, intensifying on peaks.
Active yellow weather warning for haze until 9:00pm tonight, with visibility reduced to 3,000 metres. Occasionally visibility may be less than 2,000 metres.

LANZAROTE:
No active weather warnings for wind.

FUERTEVENTURA:
No active weather warnings for wind.

Active yellow weather warning for winds up to 80km/h until 12:59pm tonight, but particularly inland and at summits where gusts could reach 100km/h.
Active yellow weather warning for haze until 9:00pm tonight, with visibility reduced to 3,000 metres. Occasionally visibility may be less than 2,000 metres.

LA GOMERA:
No active weather warnings for wind.
