According to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the Canary Islands can expect a cloudy weekend in general, with localised showers on the more mountainous islands, particularly on the northern slopes, and more frost at the peaks of Tenerife.
Weather warnings for wind and adverse conditions end tonight but there will still be winds from the north and northeast of force 4 or 5, increasing to 6 in some points, especially offshore and to the south of the islands, with strong swells from the north with waves of 1 to 2 metres in height.
SATURDAY’S FORECAST BY ISLANDS:
TENERIFE: cloudy, particularly in the north. Light rains on the northern slope that can be locally more intense especially inland during the second half of the day, and more frost and some ice on the summits. In the rest of the island, rain will be less likely, except for occasional showers in the south and southwest during the afternoon.
The wind will be from the northeast, with strong gusts on the summits and in the extreme northwest and southeast of the island, and breezes on the west coasts.
Temperatures: Maximum 20°C, minimum 17°C.
GRAN CANARIA: cloudy, with overcast skies in the north. Light rains on the northern slope that may be locally stronger, especially in the middle and high areas during the second half of the day.
In the rest of the island, they will be less probable, and only isolated showers. Winds from the northeast, which will blow with strong intervals on the summits and on the west and southeast slopes. Breezes on southwest coasts.

LANZAROTE: mostly cloudy skies, with a low probability of light and occasional rains. Northeast wind with strong gusts during the first half of the day. Temperatures: Maximum 19°C, minimum 14°C.
FUERTEVENTURA: cloudy skies with a low probability of light and occasional rains. Northeast wind with strong intervals, which will decrease later in the day.
