Passenger proposes over the tannoy system on flight from Gran Canaria to Fuerteventura
A male passenger on a flight between Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura yesterday, proposed to his girlfriend mid-flight in front of all the other passengers, using the aeroplanes tannoy system for the proposal.
Firstly, the Spanish man in his 20’s used the public address system to ask the passenger in seat 115D, his girlfriend, to come out into the aisle and stand next to his seat.
While she was stood there he told her, in front of everyone: "I wanted to bring you closer to heaven to tell you that I love you," and then asked her to marry him.
His girlfriend, although blushing, said yes, and to rapturous applause, from the rest of the plane, he walked over, dropped to one knee and gave her an engagement ring. Congratulations from us all at the Canarian Weekly.
