Want free KFC? Then look out for their plane over Tenerife

KFC have launched a unique marketing campaign to promote the opening of their newest restaurant in Tenerife by branding a Canary Fly plane with a big arrow showing you the direction it’s in, and giving you the opportunity to get free food by taking a picture of it.

The company wanted to take advantage of the restaurant’s location next to the Tenerife North airport, one of the busiest for domestic air traffic in the Canary Islands, to promote its opening.

The plane has the KFC logo with a big arrow pointing forwards with the words "This way KFC" pointing towards its location when a plane is coming into land.

The plane is going be stay branded until the end of August with a special offer that you can take advantage of and get free food. If you manage to photograph the plane flying over the island, and then go to the restaurant in La Laguna and show them the image, you will get two free chicken strips.

Likewise, anyone who goes on the plane can get a free La Sobrada burger by showing their boarding pass and ID at the new KFC restaurant. Not only is it finger licking good, but everything tastes better when it's free!!
