VIDEO: Couple are caught on camera running from the scene of a car accident

A video circulating on social media after being shared by the Social Drive platform, shows two young people abandoning and running from a vehicle that they just crashed into another car in Arucas in Gran Canaria last night (Sunday).

The video was recorded by a resident who heard the accident, from the window of her house and captures the moment that the two young people got out of the vehicle and run in the opposite direction of the other vehicle with which they had just collided, without caring about the state of the others involved in the accident and without informing the authorities.

According to the witness who recorded the incident, a woman was driving the car, while the other person, who ran away with her, was in the passenger seat.

At the end of the video, you can see how the other people involved in the accident, are clearing the debris from the road that came off the cars when the collision happened.

At the moment it is unknown if the police are investigating this incident, but a key piece of evidence is the video captured by the neighbour, in which she says the license plate of the vehicle out loud whilst recording.
