Calle Bentaguayre in Santa Cruz de Tenerife has become the talk of social media after images of the council’s "unique" road marking work were posted on social media yesterday.
A local resident shared a post on their Twitter profile, @rebenaker666, showing the new road markings, which were laid regardless of what got in the way… including doggie doo!
The photos show that workmen went over stones, twigs, and cans, among other things, with the yellow lines.
Admittedly Calle Bentaguayre is a dead-end street in the island's capital, but you do think that maybe they could have followed road sweepers to do the job properly!
