A 30-year-old man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in the early hours of this morning (Thursday) in Tenerife. The incident took place at approximately 1:00am in Chimisay, which is in the municipality of La Laguna.
The Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES) received an alert requesting medical assistance for the man, who had been the victim of a knife attack at the aforementioned location.
Upon arrival, paramedics found the victim suffering from serious stab wounds, and immediately transferred him by ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital where he was admitted in a critical condition for urgent treatment.
The National Police are currently investigating the incident, though no further details have been released at this time.
