VIDEO: Sailboat runs aground in the south of Tenerife
A sailing boat with two people on board ran aground yesterday afternoon, Thursday, at Puerto de San Miguel on the south coast of Tenerife. The incident quickly drew the attention of nearby residents and visitors at the popular marina.
According to reports, the vessel encountered difficulties before becoming stranded on the rocks, leaving it immobilised. Emergency services attended the scene, but both occupants were unharmed and required no medical assistance.
