The Guardia Civil have arrested a 25-year-old man accused of breaking into and robbing three homes in the towns of Las Rosas and Guaza, in the south of Tenerife, while the occupants were asleep inside the property.
According to reports filed by the victims, the robberies took place at night while the homeowners were inside their residences. The suspect, who is a known repeat offender, allegedly climbed to access windows and terraces to enter the homes, and made off with over €1,800 in cash and personal items valued at approximately €2,000.
Following an investigation by the Guardia Civil's Investigation Unit from Playa de las Américas, the suspect was identified and apprehended. The man has a history of committing similar crimes and has been arrested multiple times in the past.
He has now been brought before the Court of Instruction No. 4 of Arona, which has ordered his provisional imprisonment. The investigation remains ongoing.
