Firefighters in Tenerife have reported their intervention after a head-on collision between two vehicles yesterday (Monday) on the TF-47 road in Guía de Isora, in the south of Tenerife.
The incident took place at 7:50pm and the fire brigade were sent to the location given, where they proceeded to disconnect the batteries of both cars and removed one of the vehicles from the road to restore traffic flow.
SUC medical personnel attended to the injured individuals at the scene before transferring them to hospital by ambulance for further treatment.
Emergency Response in El Rosario
Additionally, in the same report, they highlighted another incident on Calle La Campana in El Rosario, in the north of Tenerife, where a lorry had veered off the road and crashed into a wall.
Firefighters secured the vehicle to prevent further movement before removing the affected cars and the lorry itself, and cleared debris from the area. The Local Police and Canary Islands Emergency Service were also present to assist in the operation.
No injuries were reported in this second incident.
