The Adeje Town Hall's Department of Culture, has opened the pre-registration period for anyone interested in taking part in this year’s 'La Pasión de Adeje', the Good Friday street theatre performance.
This emblematic performance, held every Good Friday at midday, brings together hundreds of participants and thousands of spectators every year. It is one of the municipality’s most significant cultural events and has established itself as a reference for Holy Week (Easter) in the Canary Islands and beyond.
Those interested in participating on Friday 18th April, can register to play various roles in the production, including villagers, Roman soldiers, temple guards, and members of the Sanhedrin, among others. And while these are generally not speaking roles, some basic Spanish is necessary to follow the relevant instructions.
To register there is an online form available at the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdhZ2xH-7kApXmhKEKKMtY8CZeYMSUHmcVfYqFOpTWN7DHvNQ/viewform
Once the application is received, the organisation will contact participants to confirm their place and provide all necessary details regarding their participation.
In addition to the online form, anyone interested can also obtain information or register in person at the Adeje Cultural Centre or by calling 922 756 246.
Registration is open until Friday 11th April 2025 and we encourage you to think about taking part in this incredible production, which year after year has captured the attention of residents, visitors, and media alike for its realism, emotional impact, and artistic quality.
