A traffic accident on the northern carriageway of the TF-1 by Guaza in the south of Tenerife, heading towards Santa Cruz, has resulted in major delays on the motorway during this afternoon (Wednesday).
At least three vehicles have been involved in a collision, although the extent of the accident is currently unknown, and the emergency services have not been able to confirm if there are any reported personal injuries at this time.
Emergency response units, including personnel from the Fire Brigade, ambulances, SUC medical staff, and Guardia Civil have all been dispatched to the scene, to control the traffic, attend to any injuries, and ultimately clear the road as quickly and safely as possible.
At the time of publication, the traffic congestion is extending beyond the junctions for Adeje and Armeñime, and drivers navigating the route are advised to exercise utmost caution.
