Servitaxi Tenesur SL

Clear and settled conditions will continue across the Canary Islands this Bank Holiday Friday, with only patches of high cloud expected later in the day, according to the latest AEMET forecasts.

Temperatures will remain steady, but will drop slightly in Gran Canaria, while moderate north-easterly winds persist across the region. Light coastal breezes are also expected along south-western shores of the mountainous islands.

At sea, conditions will be moderate, with winds from the east, north and north-east at force 4 to 6, producing slight to moderate swells. In calmer areas, winds will vary between force 1 and 3 with slight seas. A northerly or north-easterly swell of around one metre is also forecast.

Outlook for Visitors and Residents

Overall, Friday offers excellent weather across the islands, with plenty of sunshine and only minor cloud later in the day. Wind exposure will vary depending on location, so more sheltered south-west coasts may feel noticeably warmer and calmer.

Island-by-Island Forecast Friday 3rd April 2026:

Tenerife
Tenerife will also enjoy predominantly clear skies, particularly in the south and coastal areas. Some cloud may appear later in the afternoon at higher levels, but sunshine will dominate most of the day. Inland areas could see slightly cooler early morning or night-time temperatures. Moderate north-easterly winds will affect much of the island, while western coastal areas benefit from lighter breezes, making them calmer spots for outdoor activities.
General temperature range: Low of 16°C and high of 23°C
