A section of Avenida Londres in Los Cristianos will be temporarily closed overnight on Sunday as road-marking work is carried out. Arona Council has confirmed that the closure will begin at 11:30pm on Sunday, 20th September, and is scheduled to remain in place until 3:30am on Monday, 21st September.

The affected section of Avenida Londres runs between Calle Asomada del Morisco and Avenida Ámsterdam. The closure is required so crews can repaint road markings and signage along the route.

Although the work is being carried out overnight to minimise disruption, motorists travelling through this part of Los Cristianos during the four-hour period will need to find an alternative route.

Drivers have been asked to take extra care around the affected area, follow temporary traffic signs and instructions, and allow for possible delays.

The work follows other overnight road-marking operations carried out on Avenida Londres earlier this week, including restrictions between Avenida Ámsterdam and Avenida Juan Carlos I.
