A woman was injured in a crash between two cars on the TF-1 motorway in the south of Tenerife yesterday afternoon (Saturday), near the junction for Los Cristianos, according to the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
CECOES received a call at 3:42pm informing them of the accident, requesting urgent assistance for the injured woman.
SUC medical personnel were the first to arrive at the location given, and confirmed that the injured woman suffered moderate cervical pain, and took her to the Quirón Costa Adeje Hospital for further treatment.
The Guardia Civil were also at the scene to manage traffic which experienced delays due to the collision, and complete the necessary accident report, while Road Maintenance Service teams worked to clear debris from the motorway.
The incident caused temporary traffic disruptions but was managed efficiently by emergency services, ensuring safety and minimal impact on other motorists.
