Venture Collections takes over Kaori at Hotel Fariones in Lanzarote

The acclaimed Kaori restaurant, located in the heart of the five-star Hotel Fariones in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, has reopened under the full management of Venture Collections, the premium gastronomic arm of the Venture Restaurants group based in Tenerife.
With a portfolio of 18 restaurants and a team of over 650 professionals, Venture Restaurants has cemented itself as one of the strongest hospitality groups in the Canary Islands.
Recognised by the 2025 Repsol Guide, Kaori is known for its dual offering: a refined ten-course tasting menu and an à la carte service featuring signature dishes such as yellowtail usuzukuri with passion fruit ponzu, wagyu and foie gyozas with eel reduction, and tuna tartare with truffle and cured yolk. Each creation reflects Kaori’s philosophy — a bridge between East and West.
At the helm of the kitchen is chef Víctor Planas, one of Spain’s leading specialists in high-end Japanese cuisine. Planas is also the creative force behind Kensei – Contemporary Japanese, located in the south of Tenerife, which has earned a Repsol Sun, a Michelin recommendation, and the Best Foreign Cuisine Award at the 39th National Gastronomy Awards.
