The Rise of Digital Grocery Shopping
The demand for digital grocery shopping is on the rise in the Canary Islands. According to Just Eat’s Gastrómetro 2024 report, the ‘grocery basket’ category has seen the highest growth in the region over the past year. Additionally, a study by Just Eat and PA Consulting titled The Rapid Evolution predicts that by 2029, online grocery shopping will have a market share of 16%.
This partnership is Just Eat’s first collaboration with a supermarket chain in the Canary Islands. The service is currently being piloted in two key HiperDino locations, with plans for further expansion in the coming months.
