HiperDino donates 9,000kg of food to animal shelters in the Canary Islands

HiperDino, through the DinoSol Foundation which is concerned with the welfare and protection of homeless animals, has donated 9,000kg of food so far this year to animal shelters across the Canary Islands.

Currently, the supermarket chain, which is a Canarian company, collaborates with 15 different entities in Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Lanzarote.

Among these animal charities and shelters are Asociación Life4 Pitbulls Canarias; ADA Gran Canaria; Sarah Protector; ADEPAC; Juma Association; Protective Sacramento, and K9 Tenerife.

Virginia Ávila, the director of the DinoSol Foundation, said: “HiperDino, wants to contribute as much as possible so that these associations can continue carrying out their important work. It is a necessary task that requires selfless collaboration in order to continue over time and thus help as many homeless animals as possible.”
