Contract approved to promote the Tenerife Race Track at MotoGP races

The Tenerife Cabildo has confirmed a contract worth 240,750 euros for the promotion of the new race track at MotoGP races, after finalising an agreement with Dorna Sports SL, the company that holds exclusive rights for this type of promotion at motorcycle race meetings.

This expense is included within the 605,000 euros budget for publicity of the project that the vice president of the Cabildo, Enrique Arriaga, had already announced.

“The contract with the Dorna Group is a contract for the entire season, but we will be seen at the remaining race meetings this year,” said Arriaga.

The MotoGP races between September and November of this year include: San Marino, Aragon, Japan, Thailand, Australia, Malaysia, and Valencia.

The expenses of advertising and marketing services of the Tenerife Motor Circuit are added to those of consultation, which amount to 1.5 million euros, and to the execution of the initiative itself, which is 51 million euros, and to other technical assistance contracts, such as specialized advice on environmental matters that have barely cost 1,500 euros, and has been awarded to the company Bejeque Medioambiente y Diseño SL.
