Arcano Partners’ asset management division has completed the acquisition of three four-star hotels in Tenerife, adding a combined total of 1,050 rooms to its portfolio.
In a statement, the company confirmed that the deal involves not only the purchase of the properties but also a significant capital injection to reposition them, with the aim of turning all three into all-inclusive resorts.
The hotels acquired are the Alua Atlántico Golf Resort in Golf del Sur (south Tenerife), and Alua Tenerife and Alua Soul Orotava Valley, both located in Puerto de la Cruz.
The properties have been purchased from a subsidiary of the Hyatt group, which will continue to operate them under the Alua Hotels & Resorts brand through long-term management agreements.
For the acquisition process, Arcano Partners received legal and tax advice from Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa, hotel advisory support from Christie & Co, financial guidance from Lesayra, and labour consultancy from Sagardoy. Hyatt was advised by Colliers, Pérez-Llorca, and Ernst & Young teams in Barcelona and New York.
