TUESDAY WEATHER: A cloudy start but warmer with light winds across the Canaries v
The Canary Islands will see a mix of low cloud in the early hours of today, Tuesday, slightly warmer temperatures, and light winds throughout the day, according to forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
At sea, conditions will vary with westerly winds force 2 to 4, occasionally 4 or 5 to the north and south of the islands, and variable force 1 to 3 along the eastern coasts.
Seas will range from slight to moderate, with a north-westerly swell of 2 to 3 metres, easing to around 2 metres overnight.

TENERIFE
Mostly clear skies, with some morning cloud in the east and north, and more cloud in the west later in the day. Minimum temperatures remain stable or rise slightly, especially in higher areas and the western slopes. Maximums increase slightly, except on the highest peaks where they remain unchanged. Light, variable winds with coastal breezes, turning more westerly later. Moderate westerly winds on the summit.
Expected temperature range: Low of 13°C and high of 24°C.
GRAN CANARIA
Generally clear skies with some morning cloud along the coasts. Minimum temperatures remain stable; maximums rise slightly. Light, variable winds with coastal breezes, and light to moderate westerlies at higher altitudes.
Expected temperature range: Low of 14°C and high of 23°C.
LANZAROTE
Early low cloud will give way to some high cloud from mid-morning. Later in the day, low cloud is expected in the north while the rest of the island clears. Minimum temperatures remain steady, with a slight rise in maximums. Light westerly winds strengthening to moderate through the morning.
Expected temperature range: Low of 13°C and high of 22°C.
FUERTEVENTURA
Similar conditions with early low cloud followed by high cloud later. Skies will become mostly clear by evening. Minimum temperatures steady or slightly higher; maximums rising slightly. Light westerly winds increasing to moderate in the afternoon.
Expected temperature range: Low of 13°C and high of 22°C.
