The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecast shows calima, a drop in temperatures, and moderate to occasionally strong east to southeast winds across the Canary Islands today, Tuesday.
The sea will have a strong swell of around 2 metres, increasing to 3 metres in some areas, making bathing dangerous in open water.
There will be northeast to east winds of force 5 or 6 in the north and southeast, occasionally reaching force 7 offshore creating some big waves. It will be the calmest in the west, with variable winds of force 1 to 3, with a smaller swell.

- Yellow warning in effect for probable very strong gusts, especially in inland areas and on the west coast, potentially exceeding 80 km/h.
- Temperatures: highs of 22°C and lows of 18°C.
- Partly cloudy or clear with intervals of high clouds.
- Calima becoming thicker on the southern slopes, especially in the second half of the day.
- Temperatures will increase slightly, more on the northern and western slopes and coasts.
- Moderate east winds along the coasts and strong southeast winds inland and at high areas.
- Yellow warning in effect for probable very strong gusts on the north slope, less likely in summits and on the west and south slopes.
- Temperatures: highs of 23°C and lows of 20°C.
- Mostly clear with intervals of high clouds.
- Cloudy intervals in low areas in the northeast of the island this morning.
- Calima becoming more intense across the south, especially during the first half of the day and again towards the end.
- High temperatures will increase, especially inland.
- Moderate east winds along the coasts and moderate to strong southeast winds inland and high areas.
- Yellow warning in effect for probable very strong gusts on the north slope, less likely in the southwest. Strong gusts may also be recorded in central summits late in the day.
- Temperatures: highs of 26°C and lows of 19°C.
