Body of missing teenager is found dead in Tenerife
Tenerife is enveloped in grief as the heartbreaking news emerges that Santiago José Gutierrez, widely known as Chago, the 16-year-old boy who went missing on the island last September, has been found dead.
Televisión Canaria reported on Monday that the teenager had left his home in a state of anger and was last seen in the San Matías neighbourhood. Unfortunately, his trail went cold in Montaña de Taco.
After an exhaustive and relentless four-month search on the island, authorities have now confirmed that the lifeless body found on January 27th is that of Chago.
The community is left mourning the loss of such a young life and offering condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
