AEMET says rain will return to the Canary Islands soon

Today's weather forecast for the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which includes La Palma, La Gomer and El Hierro, shows that the northern parts of the islands will be cloudy while other areas will have cloudy intervals.

There is also a slight chance of weak and occasional rain this morning in the north, and this afternoon in inland areas of the southern slopes.

According to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), temperatures will remain relatively stable, with highs reaching around 25 degrees Celsius and lows dropping to about 21°C.

Moderate northeast winds are expected, with stronger winds anticipated on the northwest and southeast slopes of the more mountainous islands.

In Gran Canaria, the northern part of the island will be cloudy with a slight chance of weak and occasional morning rain, while other areas will experience partly cloudy conditions, except for the inland region of the southwest slope, where it will become cloudy in the afternoon with a low chance of weak rain in general.

As for Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, there will also be partly cloudy skies with some clear intervals during the morning.

Temperatures will show minimal fluctuations, with highs reaching around 24°C and lows dropping to about 20°C.

Regarding the wind, it will blow moderately from the northeast, with stronger winds during the afternoon on the northwest and southeast slopes.
