The islands continue with weather warnings for strong winds up to 90km/h

A drop in temperatures has already been felt in the Canary Islands since the beginning of the weekend, and according to Aemet, will continue with few changes today (Monday). Winds will also continue to blow with weather warnings in place for very strong gusts, especially on the summits, and the east and northwest slopes of Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and La Palma.

In these islands winds are expected to reach 90 km/h in high areas, and in Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, El Hierro, and La Gomera it is expected to reach 70 km/h.

According to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency, there is also the possibility of weak rains in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, as well as in the north of the mountainous islands. In the rest, cloudy intervals and sunny spells will remain.
