A 40-year-old man is in critical condition following a collision between his motorcycle and a truck on the TF-64 near San Isidro in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona on Sunday afternoon, as reported by the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES).
CECOES received an alert at around 4:25pm from the 112 call centre requesting urgent medical assistance for the injured rider, and dispatched the relevant emergency resources to the location given.
When paramedics arrived at the scene they immediately tended to the victim, who had serious multiple injuries. As a result, he had to be urgently transported in critical condition to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria where he was admitted for urgent treatment.
The Guardia Civil conducted the corresponding accident report to determine the cause of the accident.
