Police break up a stag-do in Gran Canaria for breaking Covid rules

Agents of the Special Unit (GOIA-UE) of the Local Police in Las Palmas in Gran Canaria, disbanded a private bachelor party last night with nine people in attendance on an office roof, who weren’t complying with any Level 3 health measures which specifically states that groups of four people are the maximum.

In an official press release, they highlighted how they were called to the building by local residents complaining about the party on the roof of a company located in the Sebadal area of Las Palmas.

Officers were dispatched to the scene and verified what was going on, finding a group of nine people who, according to their statements, were celebrating the ‘bachelor party’ of one of their colleagues.

Due to the breach of regulations, all participants were officially identified and presented with administrative sanctions for non-compliance with anti-Covid health measures.
