Largest point of sale for drugs in Gran Canaria is raided by armed police

More than a hundred officers of the National Police took part in a sting operation during last night, when they raided a property on Calle Adamana in the district of La Isleta in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, believed to be the largest point of sale of drugs in the capital of the island, according to police sources.

So far three people have been arrested but six more raids are scheduled, one of which is on a building that is red in colour, located around the same area, whose owner has denounced that drugs were allegedly being sold from there on several occasions, which is why it is going to be cleared and bricked up in order to demolish it in the future.

Among the police units that are participating in the operation are agents of the Special Operations Group (GOE), as well as the UPR or Canine Guides, among others in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
