WEATHER: Highs of more than 30 degrees in the Canary Islands this Sunday

The Canary Islands will be clear and sunny today (Sunday), with occasional cloudy intervals in low-lying areas in the north of the more mountainous islands (Tenerife and Gran Canaria), as well as in the north and west of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, according to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).

Maximum temperatures will reach 30°C in various locations across the islands with some moderately strong winds from the northeast. The sea will generally be calm, but bathers are warned of a strong swell on west and southeast coasts. Sunset will be at 8:41pm tonight.
