FIRE UPDATE: These are all the measures still in place due to the Tenerife fire

The Tenerife fire continues to remain stabilized as efforts focus on La Matanza, Santa Úrsula, La Orotava, and Güímar to consolidate the perimeter and prevent any potential reactivation at hot spots. In Santa Úrsula, 20 people continue to be evacuated as a precaution, although the emergency management team will assess the possibility of their return home tomorrow.

Likewise, air quality continues to be monitored, with high particle values recorded in the high area of La Orotava during the night, although these dissipated this morning.

The Cabildo has updated the status of the Island Emergency Territorial Plan (PEIN) and issued a series of resolutions for the population.

MEASURES FOR THE MUNICIPALITIES AFFECTED BY THE FIRE (Level 3 measures):
·
Prohibition of making fires in recreational areas and of traveling on forest roads and trails.

· It is not permitted to stay in the mountains or have outdoor fires (bonfires, stoves, barbecues, gas cookers).
