The National Police have arrested a 92-year-old man in Valle de Guerra, a small town in the municipality of San Cristobal de La Laguna in the north of Tenerife, suspected of murdering his 91-year-old partner.
According to police sources consulted by the EFE news agency, the victim was found dead at home and shows signs of a violent death.
At the moment there are very few details surrounding the case, but police say it is being treated as a case of domestic violence.
