VIDEO: Mass gathering in Fuerteventura angers local residents

Local residents of Corralejo in Fuerteventura are up in arms and continue to denounce the mass gatherings that are taking place every week in the main plaza of the town.

We first reported about this a few months ago, when people were seen singing, dancing, and hugging in the streets after revellers left the bars when they closed, until the police came and broke it up.

Residents are complaining that these situations are now happening on a regular basis with crowds of people congregating, not only at weekends, but also during the week.

As you can see the video shows a massive gathering of people, many of them without masks, where social distance is non-existent, and where the risk of contagion is potentially very high. Currently Fuerteventura in Level 1 restrictions with a maximum group size permitted of 10 people.
